Let see if I can come out with ten.

1. Can we have a 'proper' leader who can interact with us parents with regards to the development of our child?

2. Since Selangor have many alleys around can we agree to allocate one for the youth trainings, one that has many lanes and 'easily' accessible to all and one that is available most of the times, not on only 'selected' time.

3. Can we have coaches who are not only concern of the progress of their bowlers game performance but also concern of the studies of these students. Hence, the choice of training timings must take into considerations of the children's schooling or tuitions.

4. Can you( STBA) sponsor your top bowlers to various tournaments since the costs for participating in one can be very high for parents to bear alone. For example, a trip to an outstation junior circuit leg can go as high up as a thousand dollars if one are to take other additional costs involved in particular,i.e, board, lodging food etc.. What more in an MQ tournament, the costs get higher.

5. Please ensure no favoritism exists when selecting people to represents Selangor. Just because one is not in the program, one is not allowed to wear Selangor shirt, maybe there are underlying problems. Tell your coaches, 'Don't stay mum, find out the reasons'.

6. Please ensure clean administrations. It seems that some quarters are putting 'their' interest first rather than the success of the programs. One can't be filling up all pockets at the same time. Ask someone else to do their 'business', otherwise, resign from the association, there are more committed persons out there. Stop the 'hanky- panky' fast, please.

7. Can we have monthly tournaments for the juniors. That can be use to raise funds and at the same time scouts for more capable bowlers. That can also keep the competitiveness of our current bowlers.

8. Can the association ensure that the coaches are well taken care off too and have a more permanent careers in bowling organisations. At least the children can look forward to a future in bowling if they have no place else to go. Make it an appealing job, therefore better perks and salary should be in store.

9. Can you 'entice' back all frustrated bowlers? Don't let their talent go to waste or to other states. Have a chat with them.

10. Last but not least, please weed out bad apples in your organisation before someone 'else' come do the cleaning.

And that's all I have to say. To be a pro, one must act like a pro, behave like a pro and live like a pro. Are we a pro?

Can we know in details what is STBA04 plan in the development programme and how can the parent assist or contribute towards the success of the programmes (surely dont mention financial)? I mean in details the 5 - 10 years programme and where is the source of funding to be from?

Can STBA04 recruit a full time professional secretariat staff or the administrator (to avoid all those conflict of interest talks). This administrator will be responsible to coordinate and execute the plan of STBA04 to ensure its success

I have just rejected a comment made for this topic, for being anonymous.

Say your peace but be brave enough to put your name or emailme who you are.

The rest are brave enough SO WHY CAN'T YOU?? Even the country'sTOP BOWLERS are brave enough to type their namewhen they make their comments. Even indicated their email addy as well as their contact number.

Like I have said not traceable....means that your comment will not be published, not that we cannot accept your comments. KAPISH!!!

And to anonymous, who is requesting the "penaung" whoever that may be to dig into his pocket. STBA04 is an association and not an individual entity.

Thus there are funds from MSN, membership fee and there are plenty of sources out there, Selangor being one of the richest state in Malaysia.

I do not thoink that anybody here is asking your so called "penaung" to dig into his pocket. Not unless anonymous is only thinking of filling up his coffer instead of looking for sponsorship for STBA04, to justify it's existance and tout it's responsibility to the fullest.

Yeswe need all the questions from parents and those who have sincere passion for the sport. One thing you said is true.

quote "but if we continue to live in the past then there will be no more future to go for. Come together and form a better tomorow" unquote.

Thats what we are trying to do. We no longer live in the past, however, going by the way it is now, I agree with you Anonymous, the sport of Bowling for Selangor is DOOMED.

My Questions.

1.Who are the officialof STBA04? Why are members of STBA04 not notified of it’s Annual General Meetings? What steps are being taken to ensure that all members are notified of the Annual General Meeting , at least two weeks prior to schedule date of the Meeting?

2.Can we have a copy of the Rules & Regulation (or the Memorenddum & Article) of STBA04? We need to know if it is run via executive power or not. If it is, then there is nothing in the world that we can do unless these rules are changed.

3.Can we have the list of all members of STBA04? Also segregate them into active& paying member and those who have not renewed their membership. We need to find who makes up the bulk of STBA04 membership. Are they mostly our Youth Bowlers?

4.What is the amount of Funds allocated by MSN through MTBC to STBA04 and what is the association’s current financial standings?

5.What program and plan had been formulated to gather more funds for the association? What is the progress?

Questions 1 to 3 can be done as homework. Anyone with access or work near the Registra of Society, may be able to obtain them (1 & 2) with ease

And to Anonymous,

There was a mention abouthaving to spent about RM1000, sending a kid to the circuit in which you disputed. Here goes:- if you have a kid who participate in the "Graded" level say for example in Penang Circuit. You have to be there at least on Thursday evening. Lets say that your kidis good enough to be in the finals; that means you have to be in Prai till Sunday. Thus 3 nights Hotel stay at Pearl View. 3 nights at aro RM165 per night, that comes to RM495.00. Entry fee of RM70.00. Thats RM565.00. Food, petrol and Toll wouldbring it up to aro RM1000.00 as expenses just to participate in ONE JUNIOR CIRCUIT.

Please lah Anonymous, get your facts correct before you make statements to condemn us parents, who wants to see justice and whowants to see transparency in STBA04.

BTW, you make comment as though you know what is really going on in STBA04. Letteh others all seeyour comments and know who you are BUT have the GUTS to tell us who you really are la. Just dun bother making your comments Coz no one else will be reading.
